Jordan’s Background
Jordan’s professional background reflects a commitment to both law and education. After beginning his legal career in private practice, he stepped away from the law to pursue a career in teaching, working as a high school business and social studies educator. That experience strengthened his ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and patiently, a skill that has become a cornerstone of his elder law practice. When he returned to the legal field in 2012, he brought a renewed perspective and a deeper understanding of how legal decisions affect individuals and families over time.
Since returning to practice, Jordan has worked continuously in elder law and estate planning, both within established firms and as the owner of his own practice. Today, he leads Jordan M. Endler, P.C., in Islandia, New York, where he focuses on elder law, estate planning, trusts, probate, and related matters. His work is guided by diligence, attention to detail, and a commitment to staying at the forefront of legal and regulatory developments affecting older adults and their families.
A significant part of Jordan’s professional career has involved serving union members as a Legal Plan Provider. Since 2015, he has represented members of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 138, and previously served members of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 282. This experience has allowed him to assist working families with long-term planning and legal decision-making that supports stability and peace of mind.
Beyond his paid practice, Jordan is committed to public service. He regularly provides pro bono legal assistance to individuals in need, particularly in family court matters involving financial hardship or personal instability. He also supports charitable initiatives benefiting children and contributes to organizations that assist veterans on Long Island.
Jordan lives on Long Island with his wife and their three children. His professional philosophy is grounded in responsibility, service, and careful legal planning, values that shape both his elder law practice and his community involvement.
